My lady and I came for our anniversary. We heard about Chef James from sereral people and read his reviews so we requested him. FANTASTIC! From the very beginning he was attentive, skilled and hilarious. He made our special occasion a truly memorable experience and we hope to be back for more soon. TEN STARS!

Oh my gosh! What an experience! We visited my brother and sister in law over the weekend and chose this place to dine and celebrate our dad’s 60th birthday! To say it was a treat is an understatement! James was our chef and boy did he entertain! His sense of humor filled the space and with what you pay, you NEED the food and chef experience to match the bill! James exceeded it for us! Can’t wait to come back!

Underwhelming experience. Had an 8:45 reservation …. Food first hit my plate at 10:45 … AC wasn’t working well … which is accentuated when you are sitting in front of a hot grill … no consolation or anything… food was solid … your regular hibachi … could be better if there was better organization and planning for the service …

We had a 6:00 PM reservation on Saturday and were asked to wait in the bar area until our table was ready. We were finally seated at 6:25 PM, which was acceptable, but the experience deteriorated from there. Immediately after seating, we witnessed unprofessional behavior among the staff. As one server began her introduction, another server (Kiyah) interrupted mid-sentence to take over. The two engaged in a visible argument right in front of our table before walking away, leaving our party confused and unserved. Kiyah did not return for 90 minutes to take our orders. During this time, we watched a party at the empty table next to us get seated, order drinks, receive them, place their food order, and have their cook begin preparing their meal. Meanwhile, we were still waiting to order. Two hours into our reservation time, we still had not received water, salad, or soup. My partner approached the manager, Kenny, to address the lack of service. Instead of offering a solution or assigning another server, Kenny became defensive and aggressive, insisting that Kiyah was not “new” to her job. Chef James and assistant Ivana were super great! Ivana with the great service and always recommending and heliport us with everything. 10/10 for Ivana Chef James make the best Japanese meals! Also he make a signature plate for me because next Sunday it’s my birthday, so I appreciate the great gesture for me. Also, he cooked every food on point, it was so delicious! 10/10 for James Thank you for a great experience and have a great day!!
